As the rocks of the Altai mountains heat up, this black gold exudes from the cracks. It is then collected and filtered to remove impurities, before being used as a health supplement. But it’s not a new discovery by any means; Shilajit has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years.
Shilajit is an adaptogen – Rich in minerals, as well as fulvic and humic acids, triterpenes and phospholipids.
